Lawful Purpose of KidInspector

KidInspector is designed for parents and legal guardians who need to supervise a child’s computer in a lawful, responsible, and age-appropriate way.

The Product may be used to help parents understand how a child uses a supervised computer, support online safety, and respond to potential digital risks. U.S. children’s privacy rules also recognize the importance of parental involvement in children’s online privacy. The Federal Trade Commission explains in its Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”) (link title: Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule ("COPPA"), rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”) that COPPA applies to certain websites and online services directed to children under 13, as well as services that knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13\.

KidInspector must be used only for lawful parental control and responsible supervision. It must not be used for hidden, unauthorized, or unlawful monitoring of any person.

This means you must not use the Product to monitor adults, partners, employees, or any third party without proper legal authority or required consent. You also must not install or use the Product on any computer that you do not own, manage, or have legal authorization to supervise.

You are responsible for making sure that your use of the Product complies with all applicable privacy, consent, data protection, monitoring, and computer-use laws in your country, state, or region.

User Responsibilities

By using KidInspector, you confirm and agree that:

• you are a parent, legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to supervise the child’s computer
• you have lawful access to the supervised child’s computer
• you will use the Product only for lawful parental control and responsible supervision
• you will not use the Product to monitor adults, partners, employees, or any third party without proper legal authority or required consent
• you will obtain any consent or provide any notice required by applicable law
• you will comply with all applicable privacy, consent, data protection, monitoring, and computer-use laws in your country, state, or region
• you are responsible for how the Product is installed, configured, and used under your account
• you will not use KidInspector for hidden, unauthorized, or unlawful monitoring of any person

Prohibited Use

You must not use KidInspector:

• to monitor adults, partners, employees, or any other person without proper legal authority or required consent
• on any computer that you do not own, manage, or have legal authorization to supervise
• for hidden, unauthorized, or unlawful surveillance
• to collect information in violation of privacy, data protection, monitoring, or computer-use laws
• for harassment, stalking, blackmail, coercion, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose
• in any way that may harm, disrupt, or misuse the KidInspector website, account services, or Product

KidInspector may restrict or terminate access if we believe the Product is being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Account Registration and Security

You must create an account to access and use all KidInspector features.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login details confidential. You are also responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization, you should contact our support team as soon as possible.

Product Access and Subscription

Access to Product features depends on your active subscription, selected plan, number of licensed computers, and any additional paid features you choose to purchase.

The Product may be offered as a time-limited subscription or license plan. Available plans, subscription terms, number of supported computers, included features, storage limits, and prices are shown on the purchase page at the time of order.

Some features may be included only in certain plans or may require an additional payment. If you purchase a plan for one computer, 3 computers, or 5 computers, your access is limited to the number of computers included in the selected plan.

You are responsible for selecting the plan that matches your intended lawful use and for making sure that each supervised computer meets the technical requirements needed to install and use the software.

After a successful purchase, you may receive access to the full version, available updates, and customer support, subject to your active subscription or license terms.

KidInspector may update, modify, improve, or discontinue certain features from time to time. Any material changes to available features, subscription terms, or access conditions may be reflected on the website or in the applicable Product materials.

Payments and Refunds

Purchases, subscriptions, and license access are subject to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Refunds are not automatic and may depend on the reason for the request, the time of the request, the customer’s cooperation with support, and the conditions described in the Refund Policy.
