The Product is designed for lawful parental control and responsible supervision of a child’s computer. Any use outside this purpose is not allowed.

You must not use the software for hidden, unauthorized, or unlawful monitoring of any person. By using the website, creating an account, purchasing a license, or using the Product, you agree to follow this Policy together with our Terms of Use , Privacy Policy , Refund Policy , and other applicable policies.

Permitted Use

You may use the Product only for lawful parental control and responsible supervision of a child’s computer.

Permitted use includes:

• supervising a child’s computer activity in a lawful and responsible way
• helping parents or legal guardians understand how the child uses the supervised computer
• supporting online safety and age-appropriate computer use
• reviewing activity available through the features included in your subscription or license
• installing and using the software only on a computer that you own, manage, or are legally authorized to supervise

You are responsible for making sure that your use of the Product is lawful in your country, state, or region.

User Responsibility

Before using the Product, you must make sure that your intended use is lawful, appropriate, and limited to parental control purposes.

You are responsible for checking whether local law requires you to notify the child, obtain consent, limit certain monitoring features, or follow any other privacy or data protection rules.

You should not assume that every monitoring feature is allowed in every country, state, or region. Laws may differ depending on the child’s age, the type of data collected, the device owner, family situation, and local privacy or computer-use rules.

If you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, do not install or use the software until you have confirmed that your use is lawful.

Prohibited Use

You must not use the Product for any purpose that is hidden, unauthorized, unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to lawful parental control.

Prohibited use includes:

• monitoring adults, partners, employees, relatives, roommates, or any third party without proper legal authority or required consent
• installing or using the software on any computer that you do not own, manage, or have legal authorization to supervise
• using the Product for hidden or secret monitoring where notice or consent is required by law
• collecting, viewing, storing, or using information in violation of privacy, data protection, monitoring, consent, or computer-use laws
• using the Product for harassment, stalking, blackmail, coercion, fraud, intimidation, or any other unlawful purpose
• using the Product to access information that you are not legally allowed to access
• helping another person use the Product for unauthorized or unlawful monitoring
• using the software in a way that may harm, disrupt, overload, or misuse the website, account services, Product, or related systems

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we believe KidInspector parental control software is being used in violation of this Policy, our Terms of Use , or applicable law.

Suspected Misuse

If there are signs that the Product may be used outside its lawful parental control purpose, KidInspector may review the situation and decide what action is appropriate.

A misuse concern may arise, for example, if the Product appears to be used for unauthorized monitoring, if support receives information about possible unlawful use, or if the account holder cannot confirm that they have the legal right to supervise the computer.

In such cases, KidInspector may ask the account holder to clarify the intended use, confirm lawful access to the supervised computer, or provide information needed to review the situation.

If the concern is not resolved, access to the account, license, or certain Product features may be limited, suspended, or terminated. KidInspector may also refuse to provide support for use cases that appear to be hidden, unauthorized, abusive, or unlawful.

This section does not limit any other rights or remedies available under the Terms of Use or applicable law.

Report Unauthorized Use

If you believe that the Product is being used to monitor you or another person without proper legal authority or required consent, please contact us at [email protected].

When submitting a report, include only the information needed to help us review the situation, such as:

• your contact email address
• a short description of the concern
• why you believe the monitoring may be unauthorized or unlawful
• any relevant account, order, device, or support information, if available

Do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for the report.

KidInspector may review the information provided, request additional details, and take appropriate action in accordance with this Policy, the Terms of Use, and applicable law. We may not be able to share the outcome of a review if doing so would affect another person’s privacy, security, or legal rights.
