This Data Retention & Deletion Policy explains how KidInspector stores, retains, restricts access to, and deletes monitoring data associated with user accounts and monitored devices.
KidInspector stores monitoring data for one year from the date the data is collected.
After this retention period expires, the monitoring data is deleted from KidInspector systems.
“Stored monitoring data” may include information collected from a monitored device and displayed in the KidInspector dashboard, such as:
The exact types of monitoring data available may depend on the device, settings, subscription, and enabled monitoring features.
When a subscription ends, access to stored monitoring data in the KidInspector dashboard is blocked.
This means that the account holder will no longer have read access to monitoring data through the dashboard after the subscription expires or is terminated.
Stored monitoring data remains subject to the standard one-year retention period unless it is deleted earlier through account or device deletion.
When a monitored device is deleted from the KidInspector dashboard, the device disappears from the dashboard.
After removal, the deleted device is no longer available for viewing or management through the account dashboard.
Users can request deletion of their account and associated data directly from the KidInspector dashboard.
Once an account deletion request is submitted through the dashboard, KidInspector will process the deletion of the account and associated monitoring data according to this Policy.
KidInspector does not retain additional categories of user data beyond the retention rules described in this Policy.
